A message from Brian…
As many of you know, I have wanted to pursue my passion in life which is to help people. I started by coaching individuals with great success. However, I found myself procrastinating at getting things going on a full-time basis. Then I saw a lecture from Dr. John Demartini where he said, “If you are procrastinating on your dream then your dream isn’t big enough.” That spoke to me, and I altered my dream! I set my sites on speaking publicly so that I could help more people at one time.
Seven years ago I took Karim Hajee’s Creating Power™ course. After completing the course, my life started to change and change rapidly. I thought I was a very positive person, but my self-talk and limiting thoughts and reactive behaviors were literally holding me back and making me sick. I thought I had to physically control everything in my life. I stuck to the program and decided I was ready to change my life.
After one very successful year of selling Real Estate the regional manager told me about a new concept branch office the company was putting together. She wanted me to start it up. I didn’t even have my Broker’s license and had been in the business only one year. Obtaining a Broker management position after only one year is unheard of in the real estate industry! I realized my new way of thinking and creating behavior was catapulting me into new realms of reality. Day one at the new branch office was me and an administrator; after one year I had 30 Realtors and our gross sales were $60,000,000.
After that office was up and running, the company had me take over an existing branch office. I grew that office to 50 Realtors and we grossed $300,000,000 in sales. The program worked very well for my career; however, my health and personal life was not doing so well. I started working 70-80 hours a week and receiving 300-400 emails a day on my Blackberry. The stress was immense, and my wife was getting very annoyed with my lack of attention. My health was declining, so I went to the doctor. It turned out that I had high blood pressure at 29 years of age. The stress was literally eating me alive, and the doctor prescribed a vacation.
My wife and I went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a week. As a result 80% of my symptoms went away in those seven days. I realized that life is not all about work, and I reprioritized my values. Since the Creating Power™ course made my career so successful, I decided to use the techniques to reconnect with my wife, regain my health, and learn to live in a joyful and observant state. My wife and I also decided to slow down and move to Puerto Vallarta. Now I want to help others live the lives they want.
